Mission & History

Welcome to PSADT's 2009-2010 season! This is our 4th year of promoting emerging talent and innovative new work. We continue to give audiences a window into the work of up and coming artists, as well as provide more experienced talent a platform to showcase themselves in the competitive Twin Cities arts community. After a successful past season, with many triumphant firsts such as obtaining our 501 (c)3, becoming an Ivey Member theatre, and producing Tony Kushner's award winning work Angels in America, we are delighted to begin our 2009-2010 season and welcome your involvement. This year, due to community inquiry, we will be hosting a series of artists workshops throughout the season. We will host our first fundraiser in October, and our main events will be our mainstage programs: Mashed monsters, PSADT's first musical in two years, and Noises Off, a piece by Michael Frayn originally produced on Broadway with an all star cast film to it's credit. Noises Off will also mark our 3rd installment of our Annual None-New Works series.

Mission Statement: To serve emerging talent of all ages and backgrounds by preparing artists for more advanced theatre work through opportunities that provide an environment to hone skills and prepare for the next level of their career.

Important Dates: PSADT became an Ivey Member Theatre in June 2009 and became an official 501 (c)3 non-profit entity on October 30, 2008
